Lot has gone on since the last time I posted. I've been crazy busy and have been a part of some stuff of which i never thought God would have me be a part. To be honest, I was terribly frightened. I figured that if i were put in a position where other people were looking at me, i would let it go to my head. i am not sure how much of that actually happened, but I do have some peace knowing that God chooses to work regardless of what we do.
One of the songs we sang at csf last week kind of sums up what I seem to forget all too often. I love playing this song and was pretty excited when i got to sing and play it last friday with 50 other amazing people.
"We will dance"
Sing a song of celebration. Lift up a shout of praise.
For the Bridegroom will come
The glorious one
And oh, -- we will look on his face
We'll go -- to a much better place
Dance with all your might. Lift up your hands and clap for joy.
The time's drawing near -- when he will appear
And, oh, -- we will stand by His side
A strong, -- pure spotless bride
We will dance on the streets that are golden
The glorious bride and the great Son of man
From ev'ry tongue and tribe and nation
Will join -- in the song of the Lamb
Sing aloud for the time of rejoicing is near
The risen King, our groom, is soon to appear
The wedding feast to come is now near at last
Lift up your voice, proclaim the coming Lamb
yeeeeeeaah
i really just want to put exclamation marks after every single line of that song. i won't...cuz that might be obnoxious to some people. but still, won't heaven be fun?!? what an amazing hope we have!
p.s. that song is a lot of fun to play and was one of the first songs i learned when i started playing guitar...so i may be a little biased
...deal with it :P
have a great, hopeful day guys
