Life is meaningless and empty without His life and His hope. It hit me like a ton of bricks the other day when I tried to run away from Him. I realized I don't have anything else worth living for except Him. Not exactly a new revelation...considering I've read it in the Bible a million times. But really experiencing a complete loss of hope was so incredibly painful...

and familiar...

my life before my acceptance of His sacrifice was the same...it was hopeless

I'm crappy and ashamed, but He's patient and I need Him and I can't wait to see Him. Even though I know I will be hurt and ashamed of myself and my life when I reach the foot of His throne, I still can't wait to see Him. Knowing that He died for me and is coming for me causes me to have life.

He's my only hope.
